About the author

1914～87。小説家。名古屋市生まれ。日本大学、明治大学で講師を務めた後、64年、「寸法武者」により第三回小説現代新人賞受賞。67年、『信長殺し、光秀ではない』『寸法武者』を刊行。以後、「八切史観」とよばれる独自の史観に基づく歴史小説や評論など膨大な著作を発表（本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです）
