みちくさ学会は、みちくさの専門家と言えるブロガーさんらの寄稿記事による集合体です。彼らが見ているものは実にさまざまで、たとえば「坂道」というテーマを扱うブロガーさんがいるかと思えば、「換気口」や「マンホールの蓋」というテーマを扱う方もいます。「坂道」は言わば地形ですから、ともすれば江戸やそれ以前から続く歴史やロマンと絡め鑑賞することができるでしょう、しかし、「換気口」「マンホールの蓋」となると、これはもう現代に入ってからの観察対象であり、「換気口」が歴史的なロマンをまとっているのか・・・正直、首を傾げざるを得ません。ですがそんな「換気口」「マンホールの蓋」すらも面白く見れてしまうのが、みちくさの鑑賞眼です。 ビルの側面に並んだ「換気口」を注意深く観察したことがありますか? あるいは、家から一番近いところにある「マンホールの蓋」はどんな柄か、即答できる人がどれだけいるでしょうか? おそらく気に留めたことも無かったという方が大半だと思いますが、みちくさ学会の記事に触れることで興味の視野が広がり、みなさんの日常の風景が面白く変わってゆくことになれば嬉しいです。
